TEAM HIGHLIGHTS VIDEOS

The cost is dependant upon the sport that is being videotaped, the specifics of the content you would like to include, the number of games and practices that are videotaped, the amount of still photos you provide and the length of the final edited video.

For kids teams ranging in age from 4-18 years of age, we offer a few special options for videos that are considerably discounted from the normal hourly rate. If your content needs are different than the options described below, they will be discussed ahead of time to determine an overall cost. The finished videos are professional in quality and exciting to watch.

The cases include a nice cover that contains photographs from the video along with a brief description of content. The source tapes are yours to keep, as well, if you request to have them.

If you would like Psyched About Sports to make additional copies for you, they are $6 each.

Note: If videotaping takes place more than a 45 minute drive from the White Plains, New York area, then travel costs of $30/hour, plus expenses may be additional.

If editing only is being done, then you can watch the finished edit in the editing room with the editor in order to sign off on it or to make any changes that you would like to have done. If it is more convenient for you to watch a dvd of the edit at home in order to approve it, or to note anything you would like to have adjusted, then full payment of the total estimated cost must be received before the dvd will be shipped.

OPTION 1 - $750

-Edit a 5-7 minute music video highlight of the game.
(Takes approximately 8 hours of editing time)

OPTION 2 - $1,200

Every player will be videotaped practicing before the game and playing in the game.

After the game, the coaches and players will be interviewed. The coaches usually talk about each player on the team, the team history, today's game, etc. The players usually talk about the game, their favorite career memory, why they like playing the sport, etc.

-You can also provide up to 50 still photos
Note: Still photos should be identified by player, event, date and/or other relevant information.

-Edit an 10-12 minute finished video
(Takes approximately 16 hours of editing time)

Psyched About Sports will edit together an exciting video, incorporating graphics and music. Typically, the video contains sections on team history, the team roster, why everyone likes playing the sport and highlights from the game that was videotaped.

OPTION 3 - $2,000

- Videotape one practice or videotape a second game
(2-3 hour timeframe)

Videotaping a practice allows more time to be spent getting good close up shots of each player in action, plus the personality of the players and coaches tends to come out more. The coaches and players will be interviewed. The coaches usually talk about each player on the team, the team history, today's game, etc. The players usually talk about the game, their favorite career memory, why they like playing the sport, etc.

-You can also provide up to 50 still photos
Note: Still photos should be identified by player, event, date and/or other relevant information.

-Edit a 14-16 minute finished video
(Takes approximately 30 hours of editing time)

OPTION 4 - $4,000

- Videotape one practice (can be substituted with a third game or a non sports team activity)
(2 hour timeframe)

Videotaping a practice allows more time to be spent getting great setup shots of each player in action, plus the personality of the players and coaches tends to come out more. The coaches and players will be interviewed. The coaches usually talk about each player on the team, the team history, today's game, etc. The players usually talk about the game, their favorite career memory, why they like playing the sport, etc

-You can provide up to 100 still photos
Note: Still photos should be identified by player, event, date and/or other relevant information.

-Edit a 20 minute finished video
(Takes approximately 50 hours of editing time)

A very nice tribute to a team and their accomplishments.

OPTION 5 - $70/hour to edit (reduced from $95/hour regular rate)

TELEVISION SHOWS

In 2003, Psyched About Sports also produced from concept to completion a one hour television show "Volleyball Country" that features the U.S. National Women’s Volleyball Team, the U.S. Men Sitting Paralympic Team and the Mother Lode Volleyball Classic.

From 2005-2008, Psyched About Sports produced a total of 20 half hour television show for the EVP (Extreme Volleyball Professionals) Tour. Each show was broadcast into 35 million households. They were videotaped in locations across the country. Some of them were Honolulu, Hermosa Beach, Chicago, Miami Beach and Lake Tahoe.

COLLEGE RECRUITING VIDEOS

Often, college coaches request high school athletes to send them recruiting videos. If you are pursuing an athletic scholarship, Psyched About Sports will put together a professional video for you to send to college coaches that highlights your skills.

You can provide footage you have videotaped and/or Psyched About Sports can videotape the athlete in action.

The cost depends upon the sport that is being videotaped, the specifics of the content you would like to include, the number of games and practices to be videotaped, the amount of footage you provide and the length of the final edited video. A couple of options are described below. If your content needs are different than these, they will be discussed ahead of time to determine an overall cost.

Each option includes two copies of the finished video (2 DVD-R, 2 VHS or 1 DVD-R and 1 VHS). The cases include a nice cover that contains photographs of the athlete along with contact information and a list of athletic accomplishments. The source tapes are yours to keep, as well, if you request them.

If you would like Psyched About Sports to make additional copies for you, they are $6 a piece.

Unless other terms are agreed upon in advance:
One half of the total cost is due either before, or immediately upon completion of, the first videotaping session. Production and editing will not continue until payment is received. The balance is due immediately after you have approved the final edit. You can watch the edit in the editing room with the editor in order to approve it or to make any changes that you would like to have done. If it is more convenient for you to watch a dvd of the edit at home in order to approve it or to note anything you would like to have adjusted, then full payment of the estimated balance due must be received before the dvd will be shipped.

1. $400 (plus sales tax)
You provide all of the footage along with notes of which highlights to include.

2. $800 (plus sales tax)
You provide all of the footage (up to 10 games) and we'll watch it and select the highlights.

OPTION 2 - VIDEOTAPING AND EDITING

Each game that is videotaped (or practice or skills session) is $325 (plus sales tax). If you would like 3 or more games to be videotaped, then they are $300 each.

And the cost for editing will be:
$300 (plus sales tax) if you watch the footage and provide us with notes of which highlights to include.

$500 (plus sales tax) if we watch the footage and select the highlights.

All editing includes:
- A 5-15 minute highlights video.
- A dvd cover insert that contains athlete bio information and a couple of photos
- 2 dvd-r of the finished video.
If you would like us to make additional copies for you, they are $6 each (plus sales tax).
- If you would like a Quicktime movie file or a similar type of file that can be used for internet purposes, it will be provided, as well.

To make the process go as smoothly as possible, we will discuss what you would like to include beforehand. Some items that you may, or may not, want to include are:
- An arrow pointed at the athlete for a few seconds at the beginning of each highlight.
-Music
- A resume credit roll at the end of the video
- Anything else you would like to include can be discussed. There may, or may not be, an additional cost, depending upon specifics.

Note: You'll watch the edit and if you would like anything to be changed, it will be done. If you decide after the changes are made that you would like to make additional changes, then these will be billed at an additional $70 per hour for work done.

PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS FOR SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS

We put together videos for all types and sizes of sports organizations, ranging from local martial arts schools to national sports governing bodies. Local sports schools use promotional videos to attract new members. National Sports Organizations use marketing videos for fundraising purposes, to show off their athletes and to promote their programs to their members. Whatever your organization’s needs are, Psyched About Sports will create an informative, effective promotional video for you.

We have worked on a variety of videos, including the Colgate Women’s Games (track and field), Yeshiva University (wrestling and basketball), the Jeremy Lincoln Foundation (football), as well as several local tae kwon do schools.
